Friday, March 22, 2019 - Today is an "A" day



Bus Pass Notes NEED to be in writing and include the Bus # OR Slot #

PLEASE be sure to include:
- Your child’s first and last name
- Grade and House Color
- The name of the child they are going home with
- The BUS NUMBER or SLOT NUMBER you need them to take

Notes should be given to the ATTENDANCE DESK in the Main Lobby before or during Advisory where their bus pass will be issued.
We realize that last minute emergencies can arise, and in those cases you can email (WE CANNOT ACCEPT PHONE CALLS) all the required information to msattend@mw.k12.ny.us



Early Pick-Up notes need to be in writing

Early Pick-Up notes should be in writing and need to include:
- Your child’s first and last name
- Grade and House Color
- Reason for pick-up
- Time you will be picking up
- Who will be picking your child up
* Pick-up at 3:00 does not require a note

Notes should be given to the ATTENDANCE DESK in the Main Lobby before or during Advisory where your child will be given a pass to meet you in the lobby at the designated time.
We realize that last minute emergencies can arise, and in those cases you can email ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION to: msattend@mw.k12.ny.us OR call 460-6400 x6422.



INTRAMURALS

Swimming - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00am
Basketball - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:15am
Weight Training - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:15am



Student Council is collecting supplies for deployed Orange County Soldiers!

The Student Council will be collecting items for DEPLOYED ORANGE COUNTY SOLDIERS!

NEEDED SUPPLIES ARE:
Baby wipes, eye drops, sunscreen, Gatorade, foot sprays, deodorant, hand sanitizer, lip balm, disposable razors, Q-tips, travel size shampoo and hair conditioner, and toothpaste, energy bars, nuts and seeds, cookies, gum, hard candies, dried fruit and crackers (no chocolate since it has the potential to melt). Other items requested include small bibles (from whatever religion desired), rosary beads, greeting cards, playing cards to pass the long nights, and of course, “Thank you for your service” notes.

Please drop off supplies in room 125.

8th Grade Panoramic Photo

The 8th grade Panoramic Photo will be taken today, March 18th, during 1st period. Please bring your order form with payment to give directly to the photographer.

Swimming Intramurals will be EVERYDAY this week



Mrs. McKenzie's Phys Ed Class

Mrs. McKenzie's Phys Ed classes will begin swimming on Friday, March 22. Please remember your suit, towel and plastic bag. Any medical notes will need to go to the Health Office BEFORE the start of class.



8th Grade T-Shirt Contest

The 8th Grade T-Shirt Contest for Lake Componce is underway! Any 8th grade student is eligible to participate. Drop off entries in the Main Office or with Mrs. McNamara or Ms. Gitto. The winner will receive free admission to Lake Componce!



Student Council

The Student Council will meet on Tuesday, March 26th in room 127. Students interested in running for the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer should attend.

Also, any student who would be interested in helping set up collections for our local animal shelter should attend. Students will take the 4:00 bus home or make arrangements to be picked up.
